Below are photos from the PAUR II (Photochemical Activity and Ultraviolet Radiation) Campaign - May 1999. Held at the Isle of Crete on Nopigia Beach, the project housed lidars, UV analysers, surface ozone/chem/met. instruments, and was the setting for our ozonesonde launches. Part learning experience and part fun.

Our set-up in the huts which faced the Mediterranean Sea. The area also doubles as a camping ground.		Our antenna facing the general direction of the ozonesonde as it ascends.
Set-up inside. Anne and on- lookers monitor the progress of the telemetry data.	Without a shelter and slightly windy conditions we still need many hands to latch and steady the balloon.
